Christmas at Blackwood’s Bar & Grill is a showcase of creative Scottish food, featuring ingredients farmed, caught, or bred in Scotland. We work closely with our suppliers, keeping food miles to a minimum and focussing on fresh, seasonal produce. True to our name, we use charcoal to grill our meat, fish, poultry and game; our Josper chargrill oven cooks at ultra-high temperatures to retain food’s natural moisture and texture.
Enjoy a glass of Janisson NV Champagne, Kir Royale or Bucks Fizz on arrival before settling down for the most excellent lunch of the year. Experience the true taste of Scotland with a choice of Highland game, Salmon gravad lax or honey roasted vegetable soup for starters and a selection of sharing mains including Turkey ballotine with all the trimmings or our Josper grilled Chateaubriand. Christmas pudding with brandy sauce is of course on the menu as well as a creme de marron brulee or even a selection of Scottish cheeses.

A glass of Janisson NV Champagne kicks off your seven course evening of indulgence with an amuse bouche, seared scallops, vegetable consommé, Scotch fillet of beef, passion fruit delice, a selection of Scottish cheeses, and coffee and petit fours to finish.
